Holy smokes! Have I been on a porky escapade of epic proportions!
Last week, I had the privileged opportunity to traverse the Carolinas with chefs Dennis Lee and Jeff Kim of Namu Gaji in San Francisco to explore Carolina barbecue culture. Our whirlwind trip covered over 1,000 miles and nine barbecue joints in two and a half days. Meat sweats and good times were had by all.
